Phase 2 Study of Nexavar as Maintenance Therapy

Study Design: Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial
Patients: Stage III or IV ovarian cancer patients who have achieved a clinical complete response (disappearance of all clinical and radiological evidence of tumor) after only one regimen of standard platinum chemotherapy
Purpose: To determine the effectiveness of Nexavar when compared to placebo as maintenance therapy for patients with advanced ovarian cancer in complete remission following surgery, by assessing the difference in progression-free survival (PFS), as well as to evaluate other measures of efficacy and safety
Location: Multiple centers throughout the United States, Canada and Europe
